My Journey
The first time I picked up a camera was 10 years ago. At the time I had no idea how it worked but I knew it was something I enjoyed doing and I had a sense I might have an eye for it. Over the years photography continued to be a hobby while I was traveling and starting my career in the online marketing industry.
Little over a year ago I realised I wanted to pursue my professional photography career and I started building my portfolio focussing on businesses and lifestyle photography. Having more than five year experience in the online marketing industry made me realise how important professional photography is to a business’ online image and I intend to help as many people as I can.
My Location
My photography business is based in Paarl, but I operate all over the Cape Winelands and Cape Town. I love the sense of community in Paarl and the sheer beauty of the Winelands. I believe in supporting local businesses and keeping our community strong. It doesn’t get better than this.
My Photography
I find a great sense of fulfilment when my photography can elevate and uplift a local business to the point where their sales are directly related to the quality of the photos they use to promote their business. Whether the photos are used on their website or on their social media. Their success is my success. My experience in the online marketing industry also gives me unique insight of what works and what does not.
While business and product photography brings me fulfilment, nothing makes me happier than knowing my photos brings joy to every couple or family I have the privilege of photographing. Another happiness trigger for me is when I am able to make an individual feel beautiful, confident and empowered through my photos.
My personal favourite and the thing that brings me joy is food photography and nature photography. I love cooking and testing my skills and I love the untamed beauty nature has to offer.
